Feta tastes better than cheddar.

I gave myself a choice.

Today Dan and I had leftovers of that delicious taco soup (which was really more like a chili) and Dan had his with some nice shredded cheddar cheese on top. For me... I looked at my soup and thought about the feta cheese I had in the fridge for a big dinner salad later. I decided that I would skip the cheddar cheese (90 calories for 1 oz) and now I'm enjoying some tangy feta (70 calories for 1 oz) on my salad tonight. Add to that some cherry tomatoes, sunflower seeds, pea sprouts and bean sprouts, and it's a might yummy salad.

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my blog... I did want to clarify something with you... when you mentioned that you had the doubly whammy of smoking and fat I felt really convicted to make sure that I explained something. I don't feel like there is some ultimate great health sin (alcoholism, smoking, obesity) but that I find it really offensive when there is fat bashing by someone thin who then runs outside to smoke. I think many abuse their bodies in many ways but I wish that people would not bash fat as the ultimate sin and then go participate in something just as destructive. You get my point.

Anyway. I don't clarify much of what I say on my blog but I really felt like this was one I wanted to address. I also smoked at one time and binged drank and have participated in many things that have harmed my body along with my obesity.

I like your blog, by the way. I will be back.
