Sickie McSickerson

So, my very good friends know that I get sick quite often when I travel. I managed to go the entire Christmas vacation without getting sick. I have one plane ride with fifteen snot nosed kids, and the morning after I get home, I'm coughing and all stuffed up.

Add to that, I'm cramping like crazy, and my CAR IS BROKEN, the dreams I had of going to the gym today have been crushed.

Something happened with the piston(s)? on my front left tire, and potentially there could be damage to the axel. The cost could be as high as 2K depending on what's broken. Guldarnit.

So, today I'm going to drink a crapton of water and cranberry juice and relax as best as possible. I just had some Healthy Choice chicken noodle soup.

I really want to be back to full capacity as soon as possible. :(

Hi Sweetie! I'm sorry you are not feeling well! :-( Hope you feel better soon and I'll keep my fingers crossed for your car!

It was a great week with you!

Hugs and Kisses!

p.s. I can't wait to know what your first choice is from your new cook book.

Quit the booze and cigs. They wreak havoc on your immune system! Your week of parties combined smoking and drinking in an airport lounge made you especially susceptible to those snot blowers on the airplane.

Most bugs have at least a 24 hour incubation period, so you probably had it before the airport, it just hadn't shown up yet. And I have to agree with anonymous - the smoking and booze do wreak havoc on your immune system. I'm sorry you're feeling bad, and I hope your car is not too much to fix. Something that has worked really well for me for colds is oil of oregano. It's a natural antiviral, antibiotic, antifungal superfood. It's crazy expensive but it's been totally worth it. The last cold I got was gone within 48 hours and was really mild, and I took 4 drops twice a day in a spoonful of agave nectar.
