Expensive Healthy Foods...

Yeah. I am pretty sure that there really isn't THAT big of a difference between the organic cost and "regular joe" cost of foods... but for what I got, I am sure I paid more. Yeah. But... you get what you pay for, and I feel good that I bought healthy food.

My bill:

$4.69 - Kashi Fire Roasted Veggie Crackers
(-$2.20) on sale
$5.10 - Outpost Salad Bar Salad (.73 lb)
$4.99 - Apple Cider (for Dan)
$2.39 - Silk Soy Milk (plain)
$5.29 - Santa Cruz Lemon Juice (for Papa)
$5.99 - California Roll
$5.89 - Apple Cranberry Cereal
(-$2.60 on sale)
$1.99 - Cup of organic chili
$3.29 - Odwalla Strawberry Smoothie
$3.59 - Suzies Flatbread Crackers
$3.29 - Holyland Whole Wheat Pitas
$8.26 - Wild Alaskan Cod
$3.49 - Matthew English Muffin (Whole Wheat)
$1.94 - Cucumber
$5.99 - Kashi peanut butter bars
$3.39 - Nancy's organic cream cheese
(-$1.40 on sale)
$1.99 - Grapefruit
$3.43 - Bananas
$1.19 - Justins Almond Butter squeeze pack
$4.87 - Cashew pieces
$1.44 - Goji Energy Chunks
$1.20 - Muesli
$3.15 - Hit the Trail Mix
$2.74 - Red Pepper Hummus
$3.78 - Bartlett Pears
$3.00 - Avocados
$2.24 - Apples Jonagold
$2.45 - Green Leaf organic Lettuce

Total... = $95.87 with tax

OUCH! But... doesn't it all look so pretty and yummy? ;)

You need to sell these pictures back to the whole foods place so you can offset your bill. They are excellent pics! =P
